This Privacy Policy explains how Technically Gifted LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), the operator of Circle, collects, uses, and protects your information.

By using Circle, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Circle is intended for use only by individuals located in the United States.

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

• Email address
• User ID (UID)
• Authentication status
• Profile information (username, bio, profile photo, theme)

B. User-Generated Content

• Posts, responses, comments
• Music metadata attached to posts (artist, song name, album art, links)
• Likes, follows, streaks, and engagement metrics

C. Device & Notification Information

• Firebase Cloud Messaging token
• Basic logging of app interactions and API calls (IP addresses may be captured in logs)

D. AI-Processed Inputs

We send certain user inputs to AI systems to:

• Suggest usernames
• Provide music recommendations
• Extract semantic meaning from your answers

We do not permanently store AI outputs beyond the generated feature value.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve core app features
• Display your public profile and posts
• Recommend songs and personalize feeds
• Send push notifications
• Protect users through reporting and blocking features
• Maintain app performance and detect abuse

3. What Information is Public?

Visible to all users:

• Username, profile photo, bio
• Posts and comments
• Streaks and engagement statistics

Not visible to other users:

• Email address
• Notification tokens
• Block relationships
• Reports you submit

5. Data Storage & Retention

Data is stored in the United States using Firebase and Google Cloud services.

If you delete your account:

• Nearly all associated data is fully deleted from our databases
• Some content may remain temporarily in backups or logs but will eventually be purged automatically

6. Safety & Enforcement

We may review and remove content and accounts to enforce our Terms.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You may:

• Access or update profile information in the app
• Delete your account at any time
• Stop push notifications by removing notification permissions or uninstalling the app

The Service is intended only for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

8. Children's Privacy

Circle is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we discover such activity, we will delete the account and associated data.

If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account and all associated data promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and Google Cloud, but no online system is 100% secure.

Use the Service at your own discretion.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised version.
